Beginning the search for a potential bomb in areas not normally accessible by the public is a strategic approach. These areas are often less monitored and can be less visible, making them prime locations for someone attempting to conceal a device. Such locations could include maintenance rooms, basements, or other secure spaces where general foot traffic is minimal, thereby reducing the likelihood of early detection.

While restricted areas and the lowest or highest parts of the building may seem logical to search, they do not necessarily align with commonly hidden threats in security situations.
